After earning a License degree in Communications and Information Sciences, I gradually reoriented my aspirations toward the areas of environment and energy, which were more closely aligned with my deeply-held convictions. I got started in this field back in 2009. I participated in a number of training courses, including environmental oversight, energy administration, energy management, and training to become a Residential Building Energy Performance (BEP) certifier. I then participated in the 21st promotion of the Namur Eco-Advising Institute. This training really caused a significant turnaround in my professional life, but also in my personal life. I discovered my path, in the form of a rewarding profession that, above all, made profound sense to me.
As an eco-advisor, my number one objective revolved around the prevention of waste, particularly in implementing sensitivity campaigns targeting residents and school communities.
Since 2014, within CPAS, as an Energy Tutor, I provide technical support that is specific to energy conservation. These campaigns target both user behavior and building equipment (including door and window insulation, reflectors placed behind radiators, electrical installation, etc.). This type of support is provided in homes to help residents understand the reality of their home’s energy use by performing a complete inventory of the household’s energy system in the form of an energy usage diagnosis.
Because I am passionate about new technologies, I threw myelf into the creation of this website in 2015. The origin of the design of this site also responded to a deficit in this area. Until then, there hadn’t been a site that assembled all of the provisions needed to successfully bring to fruition a Preventative Action Plan for Energy Consumption.
